Katina Kollia

Our beloved Katina passed away on December 23, 2021 at the age of 95.
Katina was born in Tarso, Korinth, Greece and found her way to Canada in 1958. She led a full life, devoting a lot of her time to the Women’s Philoptochos at the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church in Chomedey, Laval. Katina is preceded in death by her brothers Panagioti, Charalambos and Apostoli.
She leaves to mourn her sister Chrisavgi and her sister-in-law Loula. She also leaves to mourn her nephews Nicholas (Constantina), Nick (Sue), George (Solange) and Harry (Galani), as well as her nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, visitation will be at Mount Royal Funeral Complex 1297, Chem. de la forêt, Outremont, QC H2V2P9 on Tuesday December 28th 2021 from 9am to 12pm with a maximum of 50 people at a time followed by funeral service at Holy Cross (Timios Stavros) Church, 4865 Chem. du Souvenir, Laval, QC H7W 1B6 at 1pm a maximum of 100 people is allowed with proof of vaccination and ID.
Katina’s wish was that in lieu of flowers a donation to the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church would be appreciated.
