Obituary of Kathy Jack
Of Owen Sound, passed away suddenly at LHSC Victoria Hospital, London, on Saturday, May 22, 2021. Born on March 26, 1949, Marjorie Kathryn “Kathy” Jack (née McInnis), was in her 73rd year.
Beloved wife for 51 years of Barrie Jack. Loving mother of Andrew Jack (Sarah Jack-Buckner) of Ottawa and Chris Jack of Toronto. Cherished Granny of Michael. Dear sister of Barb Cobean (Dave) of Port Elgin, Nancy Coburn (Jack) of Holland Centre, and sister-in-law of Eileen Stafford (Dave) of Shallow Lake. Also dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbours.
Predeceased by her parents Harvey and Marjorie McInnis and by her parents-in-law Gordon and Mable Jack.
Kathy was a highly creative and talented painter who loved painting scenes of nature, birds and flowers. She loved her family and doted on her grandson every chance she got. Kathy showed kindness, love, humour, generosity, and a great amount of patience.
Cremation will be taking place and a private memorial service to celebrate Kathy’s life will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-386-7492. Interment will follow at McLean’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to McLean’s Cemetery, Owen Sound Legion Building Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home. Online condolences can be sent by visiting Kathy’s memorial at www.woodfuneralhome.ca.
