Kathy’s Obituary
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at her residence on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.
Kathryn Ann Coburn (nee Burnside) of Berkeley in her 68th year.
Beloved wife of Don Coburn.
Dear mother of Trevor (Kate) of Dornoch, Kris (Dawn) of Berkeley, Luke (Callie) of Markdale and Scott (Jaclyn) of Markdale.
Cherished grandmother of Kaydence & Wyatt; Kole, Scotia & Rayna; Mackenzie & Maisie.
Sadly, missed by her siblings Jack Burnside (Lois), Lynn Karges (Wayne), Rick Burnside (Kathy), and David Burnside (Anne).
Also survived by uncle Elwood Falls and Aunt Muriel Kirkpatrick.
Kathy will be remembered by her nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and many friends.
Predeceased by parents Harry and Evelyn Burnside.
A private family memorial service will be held at the May Funeral Home, Markdale. A public celebration of life will be announced in the Spring when we can all gather safely.
If desired, memorial donations to Hope Haven or the Centre Grey Health Services Foundation would be appreciated.

  1. We will miss Kathy very much. She was a kind, caring, intelligent, hard-working woman who always had a smile on her face and genuine warmth towards others. Sincere condolences to you, Don and to Trevor and Kate, Chris and Dawn, Luke and Callie, Scott and Jaclyn and families. We are thinking of you all.
