Obituary
CARMICHAEL (GORDON): Kathryn (1950 – 2021). Kathy Carmichael passed away peacefully on Saturday
January 30 th at the age of 70. Kathy will be lovingly remembered by her husband Randy Carmichael, their
two children and their families. Her daughter Tammie (Pat) Bettiol and son Darcy (Hawley) Carmichael;
her granddaughter Breanna (John) Crowe, grandson Cole (Christie) Bettiol, granddaughter Brooklyn
Bettiol, grandson Austin Carmichael, grandson Giles (Shannon) Carmichael and great-granddaughters
Hannah Crowe and Helen Crowe. Kathy is also survived by her brother Wayne (Ute) Gordon, her brother
Lorne (Barb) Gordon, her sister Faye (Wayne) Benson, sister-in-law Darlene Carmichael, sister-in-law
Donna Gordon, as well as many nieces and nephews. Kathy is predeceased by her sister Joyce (Albert)
Gader and her brother John Gordon.
A Service will be held for immediate family at the Welland Funeral home in Welland, Ontario on
Saturday February 6th. Family and friends will gather at a later date for a Celebration of Life to
remember Kathy and the time she shared with us.
The family would like to thank the team at Linhaven Home for the Aged in St. Catharines, Ontario for the
exceptional care they provided to Kathy during her time with them.
Donations in memory of Kathy may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
