Obituary of Karen Sheppard
Karen Ann (Walsh) Sheppard of Conception Bay South. Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 11th,2021 at the age of 58. Predeceased by her mother: Gertrude, and niece: Kaitlyn. Leaving to mourn with loving memories are her husband of 30 years Lorne , daughters: Shawna (Gary), Megan (Matthew) and her precious grandchildren: Reid and Kloey, her father: Joseph, sister: Cathy (Wayne) and brother: Joseph (Wadonna). Also leaving to mourn are her cherished nieces and nephews. And a large circle of family and friends. A special thanks to her life long friends: Tracy Kieley and Jackie Tilley. We would also like to thank our extended family, friends, neighbours and palliative care team who all showed extraordinary support. Karen devoted her life to making people around her feel comfortable. She was appreciated and loved by many. Visitation will be in Hickey’s Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Saturday, November 13th, 2021 from 1PM – 4PM, Sunday, November 14th, 2021 from 11AM – 3PM. Mass of Christian Burial will take place in St. Edward’s Church, Kelligrews on Monday, November 15th, 2021 at 12 PM. Flowers accepted or donations may be made to the Kaitlyn Walsh Memorial Fund, Edmonton Community Foundation, 9910 103 Street NW, Edmonton, AB, T5K 2V7.
