It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Karen Michelle Hewitt announces her passing. Karen passed away at the Palliative Care Unit, Corner Brook Long Term Care Centre, Corner Brook, NL on Monday, April 19th, 2021 at the age of 54 years.
Karen is predeceased by her parents – Stanley & Annie Hewitt; father-in-law – Norman Cassell and brother-in-law – Charlie Speed.
Left to cherish many fond and loving memories is her husband – Glenn Cassell; daughter – Ashley Cassell (Steven); siblings – Donna Speed and Evelyn Hurley (Terry); mother-in-law – Ivy Cassell; siblings-in-law – Dean Cassell (Marie), Ethel Pollard (Larry), Tracey Cassell and Chad Cassell as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Reverend George Critchell will conduct a Private Family Funeral Service at Foster Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL on Friday, April 23rd, 2021. Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Anglican Cemetery, Westport, NL.
As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Karen’s memory to the White Bay Scaredy Cat Rescue, P.O. Box 168, Jackson’s Arm, NL A0K 3H0 or by e-transfer to scaredycatrescue@live.ca.
