Karen Lillian McCaffrey 19592021

Karen Lillian McCaffrey
1959-2021
Surrounded
by her family at the Souris Hospital, Karen McCaffrey passed away
after her battle with cancer on Thursday, May 13, 2021. Karen is the
daughter of Lillian Stewart and the late Preston Stewart. She is
survived by Kirsten McCaffrey and James McCaffrey (Victoria Seymour),
her two children that were the centre of her life and happiness. Karen
is survived by siblings Rob Stewart (Cora Stewart) and Duane Stewart
(Lisa Nickerson). Also survived by Uncle Don Pidgeon, Aunt Verna
Pidgeon and many loved and cherished cousins, nieces, nephews and
friends here on PEI, NS, NB and NFLD. Karen was predeceased by her
brother Bruce Stewart in 1982.
Karen has
touched many people in many ways and will be fondly remembered by all
who experienced her kindness and love.
Although Karen
lived most of her life in NS, her heart was in PEI. At
Karen’s request, there will be no visitation and a private
family burial took place on Friday May 14, 2021 in PEI.
Many heartfelt thanks to Dr.
