Karen Kushnir-Mooney Monday April 12 2021

KUSHNIR-MOONEY, Karen – On Monday, April 12 2021, at her home.
Dearly loved wife and best friend of Bill Mooney for 27 years. Devoted daughter of the late Faye and David Kushnir. Deeply loved sister and sister-in-law of Gary Kushnir and Ann Saxe, Steven and April Kushnir. Loving aunt of Michael, Dov, Abby and Zoe.
Karen was an exceptionally caring and involved daughter. Her unique and affectionate friendship with her mom kept Karen very closely connected with her late Boobie, her aunts and uncles in Kitchener, and all of her cousins and extended family.
Karen and Bill were a loving and caring couple who enjoyed and valued doing everything together. Karen always had a soft spot for helping animals in need. She volunteered to help homeless animals and provided a home to many. Through Bill’s knowledge and love of dogs, Karen became even more of a dog lover than Bill – their dogs were a large part of their life together.
Karen’s life was a life well-lived.
Over the past 12 years, Karen fought a battle with Parkinson’s Disease. She fought the battle bravely and with no complaints.
