“Karen Irene Babcock, 74, of Cochrane, Ontario, passed away on November 29, 2021 after a long battle with cancer and emphysema. She passed peacefully at Lady Minto Hospital in the presence of family.
Karen is predeceased by her husband, Bryan Lloyd Babcock, and her parents Harriet Annetta Casler (nee Lilley) and Harold Floyd Casler. Beloved mother of Kelly Dawn Vanderswan (nee Babcock) and Amanda Gayle Babcock; dearest grandmother of Jayden (Raven) Sky Babcock, Vanessa Victoria Babcock, and Joshua Devin Pringle; beloved great-grandmother of Arya Rose Pringle-Rutledge.
In respect of Karen’s wishes, there will be no service or funeral. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Karen’s name to Lady Minto Hospital or to the Canadian Cancer Society.”
