Obituary of Julie Lafeber
Lafeber, Julie
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Julie Michele Lafeber (Kartye) into her eternal life on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Windsor Regional Met Campus, with her family by her side. Julie is the loving wife of Doug Lafeber and proud mother of Devon (Hannah) and Emily (Rylee). She also recently found out that she is going to be a nana to a little one as well. She is survived by her father John Kartye (Liz), late mother Joy Kartye (2009), and brothers John (Lisa) and Jeff (Caroline). She is also the proud aunt of many nieces and nephews. Julie touched a lot of people’s lives with her kindness and radiant personality. She was sure to light up every room she entered. Julie has always had a big heart for animals and a keen eye for any scented candle she could discover. Julie left a long-lasting impression on many people, and because of her we can all live better lives. As she would always say, love you more. As Julie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, any donation in Julie’s honour to Ovarian Cancer Canada would be greatly appreciated and may be done by contacting the Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell St., Leamington (519-326-2631). Family and friends are invited to share their words of comfort and remembrance at www.reidfuneralhome.ca
