It is with deep sadness that the family of Julia Dianne Zinck, 74, of Clearland, announce her passing on Friday, December 11, 2020 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
Born in Blockhouse, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Lillian (Church) Wile.
Julie was a caring person to all. She worked at National Sea for many years before becoming a cook at the Mahone Nursing Home. Her hobbies were collecting recipe books, baking, cooking and making wine for Harold and friends. Her most loved possession was her dog Bubba. The family would like to extend a special thanks to those who visited her often and took time to help her when needed.
Julia is survived by her sister; Muriel (Geoffrey) Dauphinee, New Cornwall; nephew, Chris (Cathy) Wile, Mahone Bay; niece, Carol Wile, New Brunswick; special great nieces, Kiana (Dwayne Browne) Wile, Mahone Bay, Kesha Wile, Bridgewater; aunts, Gladys (John Marshall) Roma, New Glasgow, Joyce Boylan, New Minas.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Harold; brother, Leroy; aunts, Hazel Sanford, Greta Bonnyman and uncle, Harold Church
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy #3, Lunenburg. In keeping with Julie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there is to be no public memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the SHAID Tree Animal Shelter, Mahone Bay Fire Department or any charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
