The family of Julia Bianchi is saddened to announce her passing on July 22nd at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre.
Beloved wife of Tom Bianchi who predeceased her on April 3, 2015.
Loving mother of Brenda Grohs (Brian) of Kincardine and the late Bob Bianchi (2005).
Dear grandmother of Paul Bianchi, Brittany Grohs, Kirsten Grohs and great-grandmother to Elora Bianchi. She was Aunt Julie to many nieces and nephews in Canada and The Netherlands.
Predeceased by her parents Ferruccio Giacomazzi (1973) and Elisabetta Giacomazzi (1937) and stepmother Enrichetta Giacomazzi (1974). Also predeceased by her sister Mary Giacomazzi (1936), brother Tony (Gloria) Giacomazzi (2015).
As hard as it was for her to move from her hometown of Guelph of 83 years to Tiverton Park Manor, the ”City Girl” that she called herself managed to fit in and make new friends in no time.
Julia’s family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Tiverton Park Manor for the excellent care, support and love they showed Julia these past 5 years. Thank you to the Doctors and Nurses at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre who attended to Mom for these last two months.
Cremation has taken place. Due to COVID-19 restrictions a private family gathering to honour Julia’s life will be held at a later date, when travel is safe for the family to be together.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Huron Shores Hospice would be appreciated by the family. Cards available at the funeral home 519-396-2701 or leave condolences through Julia’s webpage.
