It is with great sadness that the family of Judith “Judy” Strong, 81, of Lunenburg, formerly of Garden Lots, announce her passing on Monday, November 2, 2020 at Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg.
Born in St. John, NB, she was a daughter of the late George Kyle and Audrey May (Crawford) Garnett.
Judy is survived by her sons; Brent (Bobbie) of Garden Lots, Kirby (Valerie) of Calgary; grandson, Kyle (Melissa) of Halifax; brother, John Arthur (Barbara) Garnett, Bedford, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Merrill.
Her greatest pleasures and love in life were her family, dog “Biscuit” and friends, past and present.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy #3, Lunenburg. In keeping with Judith’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there is to be no public memorial service.
If desirable, memorial donations may be made in her memory to SHAID Tree Animal Shelter or a charity of your choice.
