Judy Blanchette
1954-2021
Following a courageous battle with cancer, Judy Marie Blanchette of
Perth-Andover, NB, passed away peacefully at the Upper River Valley
Hospital on December 22, 2021.
Judy was born in Perth-Andover, NB, on June 28, 1954. She was the
daughter of the late Fidele and Viola (Martin) Fournier. Judy leaves
behind her loving husband of 47 years, Robert “Bob”
Blanchette; her sisters, Rose-Amie Wertepny of Fort Fairfield, ME,
Rita Plant (Kevin) of Perth-Andover, NB; her brother, Roy Fournier
(Lillian) of Perth-Andover, NB; her special niece, Amanda St. Peter
(Jason) along with their daughters, Kierra and Kali St. Peter; and
many other nieces, nephews, and friends.
Judy was predeceased by her parents; her sisters, Rejeanne Beaulieu,
Bernadette Albert, Edwina St. Peter, and Cora Eagles; her brothers,
Kenneth, Gilbert, and John Fournier.
Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with visitation on Sunday from 4-6
pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021 at 2 pm
from St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church. Father Gilbert Doddatto
celebrating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery at a later
date.
For those who wish, memorial donation to the Southern Victoria Cancer
Assistance Fund or to the Victoria County SPCA would be appreciated by
the family.
All people aged 12 and up will be required to show their record of
immunization or medical exemption certificate and a government issued
identification to be able to attend visitations and funeral services.
Masks are also mandatory.
Judy’s family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. David Bell,
the nurses from the Extra-Mural Program, and the staff at the Upper
River Valley Hospital Emergency Room.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover, NB.
