Millar, Joyce Weir:
It is with sadness that the family of Joyce Weir Millar announce her passing at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on January 6, 2021 in her 94th year. Joyce, wife of the late Jack Millar. Loving mother of John Millar, Bonnie Clark and her husband Ivan. Fondly remember Gramma of Greg (Carrie), Lisa and Ian (Sera) Clark. Dear Great Gramma of Grayden, Olivia, Reed and Ella Clark. Predeceased by brothers, Keith, Lorne, and Murray (Gaye). Joyce will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Born and raised in Otonabee Township Joyce spent her life involved in agriculture and her legacy lives on through Millar Eggs and Poultry Farms. Many will remember her from the Farmers Market in Peterborough where she was a Vendor for many decades. She enjoyed cattle, the exhibitions and took pride in her accomplishments as one of the first female judges of Scotch Shorthorn Cattle within Ontario and Quebec. Her legacy will be one of determination, a strong work ethic and togetherness of family.
