Joyce Mary Bonnar
Little Pond – We regret to announce the passing of our beloved mother, Joyce Mary Bonnar, 77, of Little Pond, on Friday, November 26, 2021, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Springhill, NS, in 1944, Joyce was the daughter of the late Edward and Kathleen McGraw. She was a coal miner’s daughter who was devoted to her family. Anyone who truly knew her knows she was an angel on earth, and will be dearly missed by all.
She and her late husband Ronald John Bonnar were members of Holy Family Parish, as well as the Sydney Mines Seniors and Pensioners Club.
Joyce is survived by her children; Duane, Norman, Gary and Sharon, as well as her grandchildren Jordan, Natasha, Luke and Taylor, and her great-granddaughter Lillyanne.
Besides her parents, Joyce was predeceased by her husband Ronald in July 2021.
