Obituary of Joshua Maxwell Claude Slauenwhite
SLAUENWHITE, Joshua Maxwell Claude – The family sadly announce that after an extensive 3 year search, Joshua Maxwell Claude Slauenwhite, of Farmington, Lunenburg Co., was located in Union Square on December 11, 2020 at the age of 32. Born in Bridgewater on June 29, 1988, he was the son of Corinne Ann (Chase) Cook of Wileville and Todd Joseph Slauenwhite of Sherwood Park, Alberta.
Joshua was an accomplished sketch artist who graduated from the Red Deer College of Art and Design and pursued his talents in his field, that he loved so much. Joshua had a contagious laugh that will be missed by his entire family. Joshua had a creative soul, he was always making music, and creating flawless art. He gave the most meaningful hugs, ones that would ease any bad day.
Surviving are his mother, Corinne (Chris) Cook, Wileville; father, Todd (Lisa) Slauenwhite, Alberta; siblings, Shauna Slauenwhite (Justin Corkum) Camperdown; Rebecca Slauenwhite (Lucas Higney), Bridgewater; Ryan Slauenwhite, Marcus Cook and Joey Cook, all of Wileville; Jacob Slauenwhite, Nathan Slauenwhite, Olivia Slauenwhite, Sherwood Park, Alb.; paternal grandmother, Darliea Dorey, Shubenacadie; nieces, Kolbi Ann and Claire; nephews, James and Joshua; his precious cat, Rusco.
He was predeceased by maternal great-grandmother, Nanny Ruby; paternal grandfather, Roy O’Hara.
A memorial will be held at a later date. No flowers please, donations may be made to Nova Scotia College of Art and Design or the Schizophrenia Society of Nova Scotia.
