Obituary of Joseph Paul Del Guidice
Del Guidice, Joseph Paul – We are sad to announce the passing of Joseph Del Guidice peacefully on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at the Rockwood Terrace Nursing Home. Joe, in his 83rd year, beloved husband of Mary Del Guidice (58 years). Loving father of Patrick (Helene), Michael (Daniela) and John. Cherished grandfather to Michayla, Gwendolyn, Samantha and Evan. Brother to Albert (Lynn). Joe was a member of the Elgin Little Theatre (St. Thomas), Georgetown Little Theatre, Georgetown Globe Productions and Brampton Music Society playing feature roles in Fiddler on the Roof, L’il Abner and a host of others over a span of twenty-five years. Another highlight was directing, with good friend Fred Marks, the production of, “His Last Days” at Holy Cross Church. He was also very active with his church community in Georgetown and later in retirement participated in a Sunday choir Holy Family Church, Hanover. While rejoicing in his life and gifts, he will be deeply missed by family and friends alike.
Services will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Holy Family Church, 352 10th Avenue, Hanover.
The Wake will be held at 9 a.m. with the Memorial Mass at 10 a.m.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend.
