Obituary of Josephine Maria Boyle
It is with great sadness that the family of Josephine Boyle (nee Rae) announces her death peacefullyand content at Hotel Dieu Shaver on Tuesday, September21, 2021, at the age of 74.
Josephine “Jojo” beloved mother of Andy and his wife Becky, cherished Nana to Cadyn.
Born in Scotland, she immigrated to Canada in 1966 to Welland. Jojo was a friendly, one of a kind lady who made friends with ease and had a passion for meeting their needs before her own.. She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters Isabel (Alex), Ann, Sandra (Gerry) and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, both here and aboard. Predeceased by her brother Thomas.
The family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street on Sunday, September 26th, 2021 from 1 -3pm. A Celebration of Jojo’s life will follow at 3pm in the Ceremonial Room. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hotel Dieu Shaver in Jojo’s memory.
COVID RESTRICTIONS ARE IN EFFECT, EVERYONE MUST WEAR A MASK AND RESERVATIONS TO ATTEND THE CELEBRATION OF LIFE ARE REQUIRED. PLEASE CALL 905-937-4444 TO RESERVE A PLACE.
