Josephine Raymond passed peacefully away at the Agnes Pratt Nursing Home in the arms of her loving family on Thursday, May 13th, 2021 in her 93rd year. Pre-deceased by her husband Timothy (1995) and daughter Judy (1965); grandchildren Jason Raymond and Kevin O’Brien; son-in-law Gerard Power and daughter-in-law Barb Hefferman; parents Christopher and Jane Murphy; mother and father-in-law Patrick and Marion Raymond; sisters and brothers Veronica Byrne, Margaret Hawco(Richard), John Murphy and Dan Murphy; sisters and brothers in law; Florence(William), John(Sarah), Vince (Violet), Mary, Carrie(Gerald), Ange(Gerry).
Leaving to mourn with broken hearts and loving memories 5 daughters; Linda (Raymie Boland), Donna (Philie Stack), Debbie (Ron Ledwell), Sandra (Gordon March), Diane (Gerald Denine). 3 sons Timmie (Sharon), Paul, and Danny (Sue). 17 Grandchildren; Brian, Judy, Tammy, Kim, Joey, Jamie, Chris, Suzanne, Paula, Stephen, Stephanie, Donald, Shayna, Marc, Timothy, Corey, Jillian. 22 great grandchildren whom she dearly adored. Sister Bride Jackman (Ray deceased) and brother Chris Murphy (Barb). Brother-in-laws Lar Raymond (Betty) and Tony (Linda). Special lifelong friends Clara Howlett and Pat and Marion Power. Her many friends she made during her years living at Brookside Development, Goulds. Mom had a strong Catholic Faith and was a lifelong member of St. Kevin’s Choir where she made an abundance of friends especially Betty Frampton (her Chauffer). The family would like to thank the staff at the Agnes Pratt Nursing home for their kindness and compassion shown to our mother especially during the last few days of her life. Special mention to Dr. Blair Fleming and Dr. Mabel Greene. In addition, a special thank you to Father Jeff Kolonel and Minister Effie for their visits and prayers. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation will take place on Sunday, May 16th, 2021 from 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm with COVID-19 restrictions. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Kevin’s Roman Catholic Church at 10:00 am Monday, May 17th, 2021. Interment to follow at St. Kevin’s Roman Catholic Cemetery.
