Josephine “Joy” Fellows
Peacefully at the Garden Villa in Chesterville on Thursday, June 24, 2021, Joy Fellows (nee Hayhurst), age 94. Beloved wife of the late Terry Fellows. Loving mother of Peter (Jeanne) of Mamaroneck, New York, Chris (Linda) of Aylmer, Quebec, and Barb Tessier (Ken) of Chesterville and the late Tony.
Joy will be fondly remembered by grandchildren Dane, Sabrina, Natalie, Tiffany, John, Lee, Brittany, Melissa, Jessica, 19 great-grandchildren, 6 great, great-grandchildren and her nieces and nephews.
Survived by her sisters, Margaret Jordan (UK), and Winifred French (UK). Predeceased by her brother John Hayhurst (Burlington, ON) and sisters, Frances Naylor (UK), Marie Pilkington (UK) and Elizabeth Taylor (UK).
Funeral Arrangements
Due to Covid restrictions a private funeral mass will be held at St. Mary of the Presentation Catholic Church in Chesterville. Interment will be at Hope Cemetery in Ottawa. Donations to Winchester Hospital or the Ottawa Heart Institute would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
