Obituary of Joseph Crumb
Joseph Albert Crumb
Joseph Albert Crumb It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Joe on Friday November 26, 2021, at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 68. Joe was an extremely loving husband, father, papa, son, brother, uncle and friend. In his spare time, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, he served in the military, retired from Atlas Steel, he was an avid fisherman, he loved hockey and golfing, he recently started playing the guitar and he loved playing the harmonica. Beloved husband of 32 years to Francine Crawford, he was an amazing father to his children; Ryan Crumb, Amy Gauer, Travis Crawford (Leslie), Nadine Crawford (James). He will be deeply missed by his adoring grandchildren, Ethan, Camryn, Kaleb, Luke, Angel and Seth. Also survived by his father; Albert (Doc) Crumb, his siblings; Joyce Little (Mike), John Crumb, Janet Didero (Al), his sisters-in-law, Annette Maxwell, Gail Andrews (Shawn), Itsy Neville (Leo), Paula Ransome (Billy), and his many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his mother Agnes Crumb, his father-in-law Joseph (Booie) Andrews, and mother-in-law Delores Andrews, as well as many aunts and uncles. Heaven has gained another angel who will deeply and forever be missed by all who knew him. Joe touched many lives with his huge and giving heart, his infectious smile, his incredible sense of humour, his love and passion for his family and friends, amd he was the brightest light in any room he entered. My mother was blessed to be his wife and best friend and we are the luckiest children in the world to have the unconditional love support and guidance of this truly one of a kind man. His grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he shared a deep love and connection with them that was beautiful to watch. They always put a smile on his face and are truly his greatest legacy. He was such and amazing son and brother, he adored his parents and his siblings, and he shared an incredible bond with his father who was one of his greatest friends. Please watch over us from above, and we will miss you forever and forget you NEVER. The fact that you are no longer here will always cause us pain, but you will remain forever in our hearts until we meet again.
