Obituary for
Josepha “Julia” Lesoway
Our beloved matriarch, Julia Lesoway, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2021, at the age of 92.
Julia will be lovingly remembered by her three children, Donna Malick, Cathi (Glen) Kieser and Bill (Betty-Lou) Lesoway; nine grandchildren, Lana, Susan, Dana, Darren, Kate, Brent, Kelly, April and James; fifteen great grandchildren; two great great- grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by Edward, her husband of 46 years; her parents, Max and Eva; her siblings Mary, Sonia and Edward; as well as her son-in-law Bryan.
Julia was known for her kindhearted soul and caring nature. She was a warm ray of light in this world and her many loved ones will cherish the fond memories of our many happy times with her, for years to come.
A prayer service will be held at Park Memorial, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton, AB on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 6 p.m.
Per the Restriction Exemption Program, you must provide proof of vaccinations (along with valid ID for those 18 years and over), or proof of a negative rapid COVID test taken within 72 hours of entry, or an original medical exemption letter.
Due to COVID restrictions a private funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 11 a.m.
