Suddenly entered into rest at the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital, Picton on Saturday, July 24, 2021, Joe Barsley of Union Street, Picton died at the age of 73. He was the son of the late Garnet & Maisie Barsley (nee Wright). Joe is survived by his siblings: Tom (late Florence) of Picton, George (Marilyn) of Demorestville, John, Patricia Holmes (Chuck), Guy, Donna Insley, Chuckie and Mary Barsley, all of Picton. He will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Barsley is resting at the Whattam-Hicks Funeral Home, 33 Main Street West, Picton (613-476-2450). In keeping with Joe’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services, cremation has taken place. If desired, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
