On February 16, 2021, Mr. Joseph Albert “Miksikopas” Moyah Sr. of Frog Lake passed away at the age of 75 years. He is survived by his wife, Dianne & her daughter, Claire; children, Albert Whitstone (Phyllis), Cynthia Whitstone, Steven Whitstone, Stephanie English-Calf Robe (Edwin), Richard English (Gurly Leather), Nicole Moyah, Sabrina Moyah & Georgette Dryden (Nicole Dryden-Gladue); adopted children, Tracey Swan, Shelly Lagimodiere, Robin Lagimodiere, Jacob, & Kim Faithful; numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary Cecile, Dorothy, Doreen (Michael Young), Esther & Elaine; numerous nieces & nephews. Joseph was predeceased by his parents, Thomas & Mary Louise; wife, Myrna; sons, Joseph Darcy Whitstone & Joseph Moyah Jr.; daughter, Maggie Moyah; 2 brothers, Eric & Jimmy; sisters, Mary Rose, Susie, Bonnie & Norma; adopted daughters, Sheila Hotomany & Candace Redwood; granddaughters, Alison Moses & Joey-Tiiah English; grandparents, Pierre & Maggie Moyah. A Private Wake & Traditional Funeral Service will be held at Frog Lake Band Hall, Frog Lake, with interment in Clearwater Lake Cemetery, Frog Lake.
