Joseph Louis George Fournier
1949-2021
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of
George Fournier at the Moncton Hospital, on Jan 3,
2021.
Born in Bathurst N.B. on April 15, 1949, he was the
son of Gilbert & Carmelite Fournier
(Guitard)
George spent his youth in Saint John, N.B. moving
to Moncton to work for Wawanesa Insurance in the
70s.
He is survived by his son Michael Gilbert,
& Julie Daniel from Calgary, sisters, Clarisse Gamble, Marie
Anne Fournier (Ward McKeown), nephews Robert Paterson (Joci), Gregory
Paterson (Tanya) Jeff Glaza (Asha) Jennifer Glaza & several
great nieces.
He was predeceased by his wife Margaret
O’Gorman, his parents and an infant brother.
As per his wishes, there will be a
private internment in the spring, to allow his children to attend from
Calgary.
In his memory, the family request an act of
kindness as he did to help anyone he could.
