It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Velma Sargent Jones at Santé Courville in Waterloo, Quebec, on December 21, 2021, at the age of 95.
Velma Sargent Jones, beloved wife of the late Harry Jones, daughter of the late Martha Cook and the late Robert Sargent leaves to mourn her sister: Hilda Sargent Peasley.
She will be lovingly remembered by Alden Peasley (Diane Peasley) and their children:
Sean and Barbara Peasley (Jacob), Tim and Juliana Peasley Senier (Kenneth and Kurtis), Jason and Ramona Peasley Read (Samantha, Emma and Amelia), as well as numerous family and friends.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Santé Courville of Waterloo and the BMP Hospital, for the good care and compassion shown.
Cremation was held in Granby at Les Jardins Funéraires Bessette Crematorium.
Given the current circumstances, the funeral and the Interment will be held at a later date.
