Jonathan Craig “Jumbo” Sock
1972-2021
ELSIPOGTOG, NB – Jonathan Craig
“Jumbo” Sock, 49, of Elsipogtog went missing at sea
on April 3rd, 2021 in Cheticamp, NS. Born in
Ste-Anne-de-Kent, he was the son of Harry and Eva (Levi) Sock. Jumbo
worked as a fisherman and served as councillor for his community for
15 years.
Besides his parents, Jumbo will be sadly missed by his loving
wife, Sue-Anne Sock (Milliea); his two children, Tyrone Sock (Meagan
Fanjoy) and Tessa Sock; his two grandchildren, Kanoa Wes and Melia
Mae.
Jumbo will also be sadly missed by his two brothers, Derek
Sock and Lalio Sock (Jenilee); his mother-in-law, Norma Milliea (late
Joe); his two sisters-in-law, Denise Augustine (Park) and Wendy Sock
(late Kenny); his brother-in-law, David Milliea (Jennifer); as well as
by his many nieces and nephews.
Jumbo was predeceased by his grandparents, Peter and Marion
Levi and Larry and Susianne Sock.
A memorial service and celebration of Jumbo’s life
will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 11:00 am at St.
Anne’s Roman Catholic Church in Elsipogtog. A
community feast will be held at the community hall following the
service. This service will be live streamed and the link
will be posted when available.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of
Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto.
