The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the age of 80 years. Son of the late George and the late Simone (née Major) Smith. Beloved husband of Kathryn (née Landers) Smith. Loving father of Gerald (Linda Landers), Timmy, George, Jolie Gregoire (Danny), Jody Cooley (late Dan) and John P. Dear brother of Sandra Davieau. Predeceased by many siblings. Cherished grandfather of many grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations by cheque or online to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be appreciated. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
