Wilchuck, John William – Age 87, Bible Hill.
With saddened hearts, we announce the passing of John William Wilchuck on Monday, April 26, 2021 peacefully at home. Born in Somerville, New Jersey, USA, he was a son of the late Michael and Ethel (Connely) Wilchuck.
John had a great passion for hunting and enjoyed animals – raising many German Shepherds over the years. He worked as a Millwright, being a member of Local 1178. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Louise; two sons, John Jr. (Sarah), Fredericton, N.B. and Stephen (Linda), Springhill; daughter, Tammy (Ron) Thompson, Valley; ten grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, as well as six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Theresa; sisters, Charlotte, Margaret; brother, Michael.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro. An Interment will take place at a later date in Tatamagouche Mountain Cemetery.
