John William Kenyon 2021

Kenyon, John William
June 10, 1929 – March 1, 2021
It is with great sadness that the family of John William Kenyon announce his passing after a courageous battle from the complications of covid.
John was born and raised in Calgary. He was a successful businessman having owned McLellan Supply and co-founding Westland Distributors. He enjoyed many years of camping and fishing at Pine Lake. He retired to Country Roads in Yuma, Arizona for many winters.
He had a generosity of spirit and was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. He was especially known for giving out candy and oranges to friends and strangers.
John was predeceased by his son, John Jr. He is survived by his wife, Del, and daughter, Audrey Anderson (Brian), grandsons, Michael and David, great-grandchildren, Avaiah and Mason, all of Calgary, and nephew Greg Pruden (Marilyn) of Niagara-on-the-Lake and Charlotte (Doug) Measor of Canyon Creek.
Special thanks to the staff and residents at Edgemont Retirement Center who provided wonderful care and friendship in the last years of his life.
No funeral services by request.
