John Wilfred King October 17th 1942 January 15th 2021

With much sadness, the family of John Wilfred King announce his sudden passing which occurred at home on Friday, January 15, 2021. He was aged 78 years of Goose River, PE.
He was the beloved husband of 49 years to his loving wife Gladys (nee Gallant) and a caring and dear father to his daughter Louise Deagle (Chris). Wilfred will also be lovingly remembered by his granddaughter Callie Deagle. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Anne Palmer (Michael), Claire MacKinnon and sisters-in-law Shirley Gallant, Vera Gallant, Marie Paquet, Martha Flynn (Donald), Edna MacDonald and brother-in-law David MacDonald.
Predeceased by his parents John and Teresa King, parents-in-law Frank and Marguerite Gallant, infant brother and sister, brothers-in-law Brendon MacKinnon, Everett Gallant, Henry Paquet, Joe Manning, Eldon MacDonald, Daniel Gallant and sisters-in-law Rita Manning, Carol MacDonald and Frances Gallant.
Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home where visiting hours will take place for immediate family only. A funeral mass will be held at the St. Peter’s Bay Roman Catholic Church for invited guests with interment in the St. Peter’s Bay Catholic Cemetery. If so desired, donations in memory of Wilfred can be made to St. Peter’s Bay Cemetery Fund and are appreciated by the family.
