1939-2021
Peacefully at Beach Grove Home on Wednesday, November 3, 2021
of John T. Lamphier of Charlottetown and formerly of Pleasant Grove,
age 82 years. Dear father of Anne (Paul) Cheverie, Norma (Stephen)
Watts, Shelley (John) Lamphier-Flood, Terri (Jody) Lamphier MacDonald
and their mother Frances MacLure. Also survived by eight loving
grandchildren Holly McPhee, Spencer Birt, Alice Cheverie, Alex Watts,
Kaylee Walker, Lily Flood, Ethan Flood, Eli MacDonald and Greta
MacDonald; special friend Glennis MacKenzie; four great grandchildren,
Madison, Vincent, Leo and Garrett; brother and sister, Danny (Bernie)
Lamphier and Helen (Kenny) McGuigan.
He was predeceased by
his parents Terrance and Elizabeth (nee Ready) Lamphier and siblings
Rita (Leslie) McCabe, Francis (Ada) Lamphier, Margaret Myers and Helen
Lamphier (at 9 years of age).
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral
Home. Due to current restrictions, the visitation will be
held on Friday, Nov.
5th from 6 – 8
p.m. (by invitation only and proof of
vaccinations). The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bonaventure
Church, Tracadie Cross on
Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. (by invitation
only). With interment to follow in St. Eugene’s Parish
Cemetery, Covehead.
If so desired, memorial donations may be made to St.
Eugene’s Cemetery Fund or the Parkinson Society – Maritime
Region.
