1952-2021
The death occurred peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of
Community Hospital, O’Leary, on Thursday October 14, 2021 of
John Lloyd Milligan, of Summerside, aged 69 years. Born in Inverness
on June 8, 1952, son of the late Charlie and Reby (MacKinnon)
Milligan.
Loving father to Troy, Summerside; Travis, Slemon
Park, Warrent Officer Tim, Kingston, ON, Taffy (Chris Avery),
Summerside and Tashia (Kevin) Maynard, O’Leary. Papa John to
Wyatt, Courtney, Belle, Ashton (Janelle), Jacob, Peyton, Aleigha,
Caleb, Charlie, Grayson, Lane, Bailey, Jaxon and Dylan, and great papa
to Gannon, Ensley, Myla, Gabe, Reis and Maddex.
John is also survived by his brothers and sisters
Shirley MacArthur, Tyne Valley; Donald (Judy), Tyne Valley; Keith
(Debbie), Tyne Valley; Gladys Hayman (Joe Landrigan), Kensington;
Darlene Shaw (Lawrence MacIntyre), Cardigan and Tommy (Lisa),
Kitchener, ON.
Predeceased by his parents Charlie (2002)
& Reby (2016), adopted brothers Carl Shaw, Albert Matthews and
by his brother in law Ronnie MacArthur.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel,
O’Leary with private visitation and funeral. Interment will
follow in St. Peter’s Anglican Cemetery, Foxley
River.
