John’s Obituary
With profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of John on November 16, 2021 in his 71st year. Beloved husband of Lina for over 28 years. Survived by his loving children Jeremy, Jeffrey, Laura, and Johnny. Loving grandfather to Quinton, Phoenex, Isabella, and Jackson. Predeceased by his parents John and Levia Rekiel. and his mother and father in-law Giuseppe and Guiseppina Salemi. Brother of Joanne (Allen) Peters and Frances Rekiel. Brother-in-law to Peter (Eleanor) Salemi, the late Alphonse and Louise Salemi, and Joanne (Bill) Florillo. Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Heart Stroke or Kidney Foundation, would be appreciated by the family. Cremation has taken place, funeral arrangements entrusted to Friscolanti Funeral Chapel. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
