BATES, John “Jack” – Passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Thursday April 8, 2021 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Dorothy for 65 years. Loving father of Cathy (Benny) Durant, Len (Caroline) Bates, Dan Bates and Anita Bates, Adored and admired grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of 5. Dear brother of William (Joan) Bates, Leonard (Colleen) Bates and the late Doug (the late Mary) Bates.
Due to pandemic restrictions a private family service will take place. A public celebration of Jack’s life will take place at a later date.
Arrangements entrusted to MORGAN FUNERAL HOME, 415 Regent Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a donation to Heart Niagara. Memories, photos and condolences may be shared at www.morganfuneral.com
