Obituary
On Monday, October 25, 2021, John Hoeksema went to be with his Lord and Saviour.
Left to cherish his memory, is his son, Terry (Vivian) Hoeksema; 4 Grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. John was predeceased by his wife Jacoba Hoeksema (nee Kok) and by his son Peter.
A Visitation will be held between 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Foster & McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011 – 114 Street, Edmonton. PLEASE NOTE: Foster & McGarvey Funeral home is exclusively participating in the exemption program. Please note government issued photo ID and proof of vaccination or, a negative COVID test in the last 72 hours is required upon entry to the Funeral Home.
Interment will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Northern Light’s Cemetery, Followed by a Memorial Service at 1:30 p.m., at Cornerstone United Reformed Church, 11690 – 95a Street, Edmonton. Reverend Mitch Ramkissoon will be conducting the service.
