The death occurred at his late residence in Elliot Lake, Ontario on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 of John Edward MacKinnon. He was aged 67 years of St. Georges, PE. He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Peggy Cretchfield (Geoff), Bennett, Irene LaRoque, Earl (Kelly), Blair, Claude, Hilda Lapierre (Kevin) and Noel (Shannon). Also to mourn his loss are numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Urban and Barbara (nee MacDonald) MacKinnon.
A funeral mass will take place at the St. James Roman Catholic Church, Georgetown for invited guests with interment to follow in the St. George’s Church Cemetery. If so desired, donations made to the St. George’s Cemetery Fund would be appreciated by the MacKinnon family.
