Death notice
It is with saddened hearts that our family announces the passing of John Edward Bressette at the age of 72. He was born in Victoria Harbour on June 6th 1949. John was the son of the late Isadore and Loretta Bressette. John was surrounded by his family at his home on Thursday September 16th, 2021 when he passed. Beloved husband of Norma Bressette (Cadeau) of 55 years. Father of Dennis (Heather) and Steven (Jennylyn). Brother to Donna Robitaille. Special Papa to Krista-Lee (predeceased) Joslyn, Merissa, Trevor, Justin, Tyler, Jason and Jamie. Great-Grandpa to Milee, Connor, Grayson, Zethera and Avery. Lovingly remembered by his in laws, Helen (Mike)(predeceased), Colette (Tom), Gerry (predeceased) (Fay), Lenore (Pete), Donnie, Darlene (Gary), Doug (Doris), Michele (Rick), and Joanne (Dennis). Also by many nieces, nephews, and friends. John will also be missed by his dog Oscar, a man’s best friend. John was famous for his delicious butter tarts, date squares, and bread that he always shared with his family and friends. John will be greatly missed for his exceptional singing and guitar playing; there will be a lot of family gatherings that won’t be the same without his sweet voice.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of life will take place at a later date.
