John Burgoyne
1945-2021
With his wife by his side, John Thomas Burgoyne of Plaster Rock, NB,
passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on March 31,
2021.
John was born in Perth-Andover, NB, on July 19, 1945. He was the son
of the late Bruce and Dorothy (Tompkins) Burgoyne. John leaves behind
his loving wife, Sheila Burgoyne (Davidson); his daughter, Shelly
Yeroschak (Morris) of Olds, AB; his grandchildren, Victoria Hebert
(Tyler), A.J. Hebert, Dexter Hebert (Taylor), Jessica Burgoyne, and
Bruce Burgoyne; his great grandchildren, Paisley Shirley, Rylie
Shirley, and one more great grandchild on the way, baby Hebert; his
daughter-in-law, Jennifer Burgoyne (Jim) of North View, NB; his
sisters, Sandrea Burgoyne of Comox, BC, Hope Brayall (Dave) of Crombie
Settlement, NB; his brothers, Winston Burgoyne (Mary Anne) of Plaster
Rock, NB, Bliss Burgoyne (Valerie) of North View, NB.
John was predeceased by his parents; his son, Christopher Burgoyne;
his brothers, Norman and Eugene Burgoyne.
Resting at the Tobique Chapel in Plaster Rock with visitation on
Monday from 1-3 pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 5,
2021 at 3 pm from the Tobique Chapel. Rev. Carl DeMerchant
officiating. Interment will be in the Three Brooks Cemetery at a later
date.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Plaster Rock Free Will
Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, a maximum of 60 people are allowed
to attend the funeral service and masks are mandatory.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock, NB.
