Passed peacefully away on Monday, December 27, 2021 surrounded by his loving family, John Benedict Finney at the Health Sciences Centre, aged 81.
Predeceased by his wife Catherine Finney (nee McCarthy); son John; parents William and Margaret Finney; brother Wayne Finney; sister-in-law Theresa Mercer and brother-in-law Jack McCarthy.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is his daughter Karen and her husband Chris; Grandchildren Emily, Braeden and Kayla; brothers William (Bernice) and Kevin (Helen); sister-in-law Helen (Ron) as well as a large circle of nieces nephews, other relatives and friends.
At John’s request, cremation has taken place. Due to COVID-19 a private family burial will take place at a later date.
