John Albert Snook
Passed peacefully away at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Care Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, Albert John Snook, age 75 years, of Mose Ambrose.
John leaves to mourn his wife, of 48 years, Mary (nee Baker); children, Todd (Colette) at Paradise, Tracy (Greg) at Mose Ambrose, Jerry at Mose Ambrose, and stepson, Michael (Phyllis) at Kilbride; sister, Sadie Lawrence at Mose Ambrose; grandchildren, Heather (Justin), Mikayla, Hannah, and Christian; mother in law, Marjorie Baker at Grand Bank; sisters in law, Jane Bishop (Launce), Vera Marshall (Sam) and Minnie Snook; brothers in law, Freeman Baker (Joanne) and Wayne Baker; as well as a large circle of relatives and friends.
Predeceased by parents, Jerome and Hilda Snook; brother, Arthur; father in law, Freeman Baker; brother in law, Garfield Lawrence.
Family Only Visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 3 at St. Thomas Anglican Church at English Harbour West from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Walk Through Visitation will take place on Thursday, February 4 at St. Thomas Anglican Church at English Harbour West from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. COVID-19 regulations will be followed.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 5, 2021 at 11:00 am at St. Thomas Anglican Church at English Harbour West with Rev. Tryphena Vallis officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Mose Ambrose.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mr. Snook’s memory to the English Harbour West Lions Club.
