Obituary of Joe Krane
Joseph Michael KRANE
May 25, 1947 – May 14, 2021
“THE LAST CUT”
Joe’s life was a symbolic one. In his early years Joe worked in the construction tool rental business, and in his off time he spent many years coaching hockey in the MTHL. He was so proud to see some of them eventually make the NHL. Joe loved all sports: Hockey, baseball, horse racing, but most importantly was the week of the “Masters” Golf Tournament. In the summer months, both Joe and Pat had a passion for boating. In their early 30’s, they decided it was time to plant their feet on solid ground and they found a beautiful place on Lake Simcoe. With lots of sweat and hard work, they turned it into their very own, proudly known as “KRANE’S KOZY KOTTAGE”. Through the years, the seasons were always embraced, but especially summer time brought Joe’s proudest moments with his care of their beautifully manicured property. His lawn never had a blade of grass out of place. Joe was a proud showman, always enjoyed celebrating and entertaining many events at the lake, and always by his side was his lifelong love Patricia Catherine Gunn. They were a fantastic duo, celebrating life together for over 53 years. A man with such passion for his Happy Place on Lake Simcoe, he unfortunately died doing his “Last Cut” on May 14, 2021. Cheers to you Joe and God Bless
