JOANNE CHILDERHOSE
November 1st, 1922 – October 26th, 2021
Joanne Mary Childerhose passed away at Lakeland Long Term Care, on Tuesday, October 26th, 2021. Age 98 years.
Predeceased by her parents Charles and Ethel Ludington, and her brothers Cedric and Kirk. Beloved wife of the late Mac Childerhose, and dear companion of the late Merrill Moore. Loving mother of Marjorie Thomas (Rick), Randy (Bonny), Wendy (Wayne), Steven (Mary), Martha Vincent (Phil), and the late Marilyn, Nancy and Janet. Loving Nana of Jeff (Kinley) and Steve (Brenda) Thomas; Evan and Scott (Anna) Childerhose; Vanessa (Jake) Austin; and Edward and Lucy Childerhose. Loving Great Grandmother of MacCabe and Kate Thomas, Alice and Christopher Austin, Maya and Maelyn Childerhose and Kennedy Thomas. Joanne will be fondly remembered by her nephews Gary, Jimmy and John Ludington,
and niece Judith Ludington.
Resting at the Logan Funeral Home where family will receive visitors on Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021 between the hours of 12:00 – 1:00 P.M.
Joanne’s Life Celebration Service, officiated by Reverend Monica Moore (St. James United Church), will follow in the Logan Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, November 2nd at 1:00 P.M.
Proof of vaccination will be requested.
Interment Sylvan Acres Cemetery.
The family would like to sincerely “Thank” all the staff at Lakeland LTC. Mom moved into Lakeland LTC in 2015 and received excellent and compassionate care.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Lakeland LTC Programs, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
