Boxall, Joan passed away peacefully on Monday June 21, 2021 at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital in her 89th year. Predeceased by her husband Fred (2018). Joan will be deeply missed by her son David (Cathy) Boxall of Illnois and Nancy (Gary) Trumbley of Collingwood. Forever cherished by her grandchildren Ryan (Martina), Jeff (Jessica), Kari (Rick), Krista (Ryan) and Michelle (Glenn) and great grandchildren Carson, Bentley, Caleb, Oswin, Stella, Adelaide and Henry. Joan was born in Barrie to parents George and Margaret Granger, she is survived by her sisters Shirley Miller, Helen Foster, brothers Jim (late Jean) and Ronald (late Carol); predeceased by sister Pat (Gord) Harrison and brother Russell (Glenna) Granger. Joan will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Due to covid restrictions the funeral service will be by invitation only at Trinity United Church on Thursday July 8, 2021 followed by interment at Trinity United Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer Society or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Friends may visit Joan’s online Book of Memories at www.fawcettfuneralhomes.com
