Obituary of Joan Audrey Boutilier
Boutilier, Joan Audrey- 85, Dartmouth, died peacefully Monday January 25, 2021 in Oakwood Terrace, Dartmouth. Born in Halifax September 14, 1935 she was a daughter of the late Frederick & Dorothy (Westhaver) Boutilier. Joan worked at Ashburn Golf Club as a cook for several years. She was then employed at Halifax County Rehab Center and also did some private catering. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In her spare time she enjoyed playing cards with her good friend Harold Crowell and her 45’s card partner Gladys Lees, along with numerous other people, she also enjoyed knitting and baking. Survived by her son Mike (Bonnie), Upper Stewiacke, partner Melbourne Pettipas, East Chezzetcook. Predeceased by partner Cyril Hebert, brothers Winston, Donald and Bernard. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Twin Oaks hospital and Oakwood Terrace for the great care they provided, Mom spoke so highly of them all.
