Joan “Amanda” Howe, special friend of Sam Doiron of Miramichi, passed away at her late residence on Monday, November 29, 2021 at age of 67.
Born in Newcastle, NB, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Dorothy (Lumsden) Howe. She was a retired Human Service Councillor, a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church and a Lioness.
Besides her special friend Sam Doiron, she is survived by her daughters, Tami Michaud (Steve) of South Esk, Tracy White of Nelson, Sandra Whitt (Kevin) of Nelson, Kimmy Keenan (Greg) of Nelson and Shelby Adams (Matthew) of Nelson; her sons, Bobby Bjurstrom of South Esk, Jesse Bjustrom of Nelson and Noel Doiron (Heidi) of Fredericton; her sisters, Starlette Arsenault (Kevin) of PEI and Amy Howe (Robbie) of Toronto; her brothers, Fred Howe (Late Theresa) of Maple Glen, Ricky Howe (Judy) of Moncton, Joey Howe (Linda) of Moncton, Gordie Howe (Tasha) of Miramichi and Allie Howe of Miramichi; her grandchildren, Vanessa, Peter, Kaylee, Devan, Cory and Christina and her great grandchildren, Braydie, Paislee, Aubrey, Brooklyn, Barrett, Bentlee, Jordee, Kyron, Shay, Christian, Brielle, Ivory and Abby.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband Winston Bjurstrom, grandson Daniel and great grandson Laken.
Joan “Amanda” Howe is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home 597 Old King George Hwy, with visitation on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 2 pm at Davidson’s Funeral Home Chapel with Father John Keoughan officiating.
