Jimmy Ong passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021, after a brief battle with an aggressive form of cancer. He was 61.
Jimmy was born on September 29, 1959, in Manila, Philippines. He attended the University of the East. He held a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, and worked most of his career in Manila Electric Company (MERALCO). After retiring, he continued his career as entrepreneur.
Jimmy was a generous man. He was so accommodating to his family and friends. He loved singing in karaoke.
In 1988, Jimmy married Carmen. They have three children namely Jessie, Catherine, and Johnson. In 2015, they welcome Riza as daughter-in-law. In 2018, they welcome their first granddaughter, Carmela. Jimmy was very fond of Carmela because she is the first grandchild. He taught her how to walk. In summer, Jimmy loved to walk with her around the neighborhood.
The viewing service will be at Mosaic Funeral at 1839 Inkster Boulevard, Winnipeg, Manitoba, on Friday, April 16, 2021. It will start at 4 pm until 12 midnight. The family will be there to welcome relatives and friends.
