WALKER, James Joseph “Jim” – promoted to the loving arms of his Lord & Saviour at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Wednesday, January 13th, 2021 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Donna (nee Smith) Walker (2018). Survived by his special friend Lynda Davis. Loving father of David Walker (Judy) of Simcoe, Kathryn Allen (Stephen) of Waterloo and Lori Columbus (Randy Walters) of Simcoe. Cherished grandfather & great grandfather of Mark (Kim Moore), Matthew (Leah Engelby), daughter Mya (Benjamin Pollard); Sarah Dranchuk (Chad), children Ben & Matilda; Esther Slevinsky (Mark), children Charlie & Tommy; Luke Allen (late Annie Matheson), children Sylvan, Alina & Leia; Rebecca Allen (Kai Bao), children Kylie & James; late Bethany Columbus (2000); and Jacob Columbus (Lindsey), children Ezekiel & Beth. Jim will be sadly missed by his siblings Marjorie Pennington (late Doug) of Simcoe, Marie Walker (late Albert) of Burlington, Ruth Walker of Simcoe, Ken Walker (Debbie) of Vanessa and Joe Jr. of Simcoe. Lovingly remembered by his “Other Brother” Art Hayward and by many nieces, nephews & extended family. Predeceased by his daughter-in-law Judy (nee Maxwell) Walker (2001). Due to covid restrictions, a private family graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe at a later date.
