Jewel Evelyn Olhiser
(nee Gilpin) of Emsdale
1958 – 2021
Peacefully at her home on Tuesday August 24th, 2021, Jewel Olhiser, beloved wife of the late Donald, was in her 64th year.
Caring and supportive, mother of Matthew (Lindsey), Sarah (Wayne), Natalie (Matt), Anthony, Kraig (Amber).
Proud and loving grandmother of Patrick, Alivia, Axel, Hudson, Baby Boy Schneider, Lorelei and Benjamin.
Dear daughter of Margeruite and the late Earl Gilpin.
Cherished sister of Elizabeth Sowrey (Paul), Janice Appleyard (Stan), David Gilpin (Annette) and the late George Gilpin.
Jewel will be lovingly remembered as a special Auntie by all her nieces and nephews, and dearly missed by all her friends and family.
A service to celebrate Jewel’s life, will be hosted outdoors at Elizabeth and Paul’s home in Emsdale, commencing at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday August 28, 2021, with Reverend Catherine Murkin officiating.
If desired, memorial donations to the Parish of the Good Shepherd in Emsdale, or Hospice Huntsville would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
